The Commonwealth Secretariat, in support of youth empowerment, through the Young Professionals Programme (YPP) has vacant positions in the undermentioned areas:

  3. Assistant Programme Officer (Pacific Region)
  4. Assistant Programme Officer (Stakeholder Engagement)
  5. Assistant Programme Officer (Monitoring and Evaluation)
  6. Assistant Programme Officer (Software Development)
  7. Assistant Research Officer (Climate Change)
  8. Assistant Research Officer (Office of the Secretary-General)
  9. Assistant Health Officer
  10. Assistant Research Officer (International Trade Policy)
  11. Assistant Programme Officer (Governance and Peace Directorate)

These positions are 2 year fixed-term contracts and individual applications will need to be made for each position.

To be considered, the applicant must be a citizen of a Commonwealth country aged 27 years or younger at the time applications close, have a bachelor degree or equivalent in a relevant subject area, and have at least one year of demonstrated work experience in the design and delivery of subject relevant development or democracy programmes/projects.
